MEGA GRAND WILL BE AWARDED WITH OVER 50 ENTRANTS

ALL IT TAKES TO WIN THE GRAND & MINI SUPREME:BEAUTY, 1 PHOTO AND 2 STAGE EVENTS

 

THERE MUST BE OVER 30 ENTRANTS TO AWARD 3 AGE GRAND/MINI SUPREME otherwise it will be broken down into 0-7 & 8-up


3 Grand supreme- (0-3, 4-11, 12& up) will win a beautiful 10 inch crown, gift, beautiful custom sash, bond with our 30 entrants, sponsorship fee, 3 optional paid to NEXT YEAR  National finals and attend scheduled events throughout the year.

3 Mini supreme (0-3, 4-11, 12& up) will win a beautiful 8” crown, custom sash, gift, bond with over 30 entrants, sponsorship fee, 1 optional paid to the NEXT YEAR  National finals and attend scheduled events throughout the year.

OPTIONAL SUPREME


Overall Novice supreme ( never winning over $250) will win a beautiful 6” crown, custom sash, gift, $200 sponsorship fee paid to national finals

Overall Most beautiful- will win a beautiful 6” crown, custom sash, gift, $200 off the sponsor fee paid to the National finals and attend scheduled events throughout the year.

Theme wear supreme- will win a beautiful 6”crown, custom sash, gift, $200 off the sponsorship fee paid to the national finals and attend scheduled events throughout the year.


Overall talent supreme
- will win a beautiful 6” crown, custom sash, gift,  $200 off the national finals and attend scheduled events throughout the year.

Family Event- will win a beautiful/handsome crown, custom sash, gifts, and attend scheduled events throughout the year.(must have 5 entrants competing)


Divisional queen
- will win a beautiful 5” crown, custom sash, gift, $200 off the sponsor fee and attend scheduled events throughout the year.


Alternates- will win medal, gift,  $100 off the sponsorship fee and attend scheduled events throughout the year.


Optional winners will win medals, gifts, $100 off the sponsorship fee and attend scheduled events throughout the year.

THE STAGE WILL BE A TRADITIONAL T FORMATION

 

Formal attire- Ages 0-11 may wear a long or short dress of choice/ color… Ages 12 & up must wear a long dress of choice.. gown MUST be age appropriate (Female)

0-3 will compete in PERSONALITY and BEAUTY
Parent or Guardian required to escort entrant on stage

4-up
will compete in INTRODUCTION  and BEAUTY
entrant will do their introduction by stating name, hometown, hobbies and anything they would like the judges to know about them.
Scoring is based on overall stage presence, communication and speaking skills during introduction, poise, personality and charm.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

PLEASE NOTE:  THEME WEAR  DO NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE GRAND & MINI SUPREME

These events may be substituted.. you decide your best events.. All you need is Beauty, your highest 2 stage events and 1 photo event to qualify for the supreme titles.


Casual wear- May be anything off the rack or custom made. Anything goes Time limit 1.5 minutes

Natural photogenic- Photos must be natural.. will be judged separately from glitz.

Glitz photogenic
- Photos will be judged separately from natural.(bring all photos to registration clearly marked with entrants name and age on the back)

Swim wear-
Swim suits may be one or two piece.. NO string bikinis and MUST be age appropriate.. BOYS may wear shorts.. time limit 1.5 minutes

Composite
- Must be turned in at registration ( name and age must be included)

Theme wear-  Be creative, anything goes.. time limit 1.5 minutes
*You may bring your own music for this event CUED*

Family event
- entrants will be given the microphone to introduce themselves, walk the runway and answer a simple question (be creative) one entrant must be registered to participate in this event

e.g Mother& daughter, mother & son, mother & father, brother and sister (your choice) MUST DECLARE THIS EVENT 1 MONTH PRIOR TO PAGEANT..


ALL entrant will receive an award, no one goes home empty handed.. We do not double crown unless specified.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Rules and Regulations strictly enforced at MERP( NO exception) break the rules and you will be asked to leave without a refund.. this is a family oriented event.

 
The age you are on the day of the event that is the division you will be competing in.

Absolutely NO MAKE-UP ON ENTRANTS 0-11 AGES 12+ AGE APPROPRIATE MAKE-UP

No checks accepted on the day of the event (cash only) .

No refund on fees paid via paypal, checks, mo or cash


You are not officially registered and placed in lineup until we receive your deposit and entry form.

 
DO NOT ask how many entrants are competing.

 
No transfer of fees won, discounts etc.


Scores will be e-mail or snail mail upon request ONLY (MERP rules since 2003)

 
If you withdraw from the pageant NO refund will be given deposit will be applied to another event with a $50 back out fee deducted.

 
MERP directors, staff, hotel assume no responsibility for injury, theft or loss at the pageant.

 
Dressing room will be provided for entrants ONLY one person allowed to assist the entrant all other will be ask to leave the dressing room. Entrants require enough space to get ready for their event.

 
Vendors are not allowed in the dressing room (NO EXCEPTION)e

 
Parent and entrants please be aware of the 1 point deduction if you are late for your event.. please advise your vendors of this rule. WE cannot and will not hold up the pageant and schedule for one person.

 
Entrants 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult for the onstage events.

 
We provide all music with the exception of TALENT AND THEME WEAR we have a play list of updated music available..

 
Stage will be a T formation with 3 x’s in the back and one at the front.

 
Time limit rules strictly enforced.. points will be deducted if you go over your time.

 
Event day schedule will be e-mailed before the pageant and will be available at registration

 
ABSOLUTELY NO VIDEO OR CAMERAS ALLOWED during this event unless specified by directors.

 
Anyone can re-compete except MEGA GRAND, GRAND and MINI SUPREME.

 
Contact the Pageant office if you plan to register the day of the event so we can have the proper paperwork prepared ahead of time.. This helps us to ensure there are plenty of titles and gift for all entrants.

 
NEW royalty must remain after crowning for group pictures.. bonds will be awarded after crowning photos.(no exception).

Do I get my scores after the pageant
Miss Empire DO NOT GIVE out scores if you wish to get your scores you have to request it when registering at the cost of $5.00. We have someone that is in charge of this. Miss Empire Royalty Staff Do not go over scores after the event.
